The professional staff at Wild Horse Adventure Tours has a fleet of safari-style Hummers that will transport you along the beach and through the dunes in Carova, a town just north of Corolla where the wild Spanish mustangs roam free. The open-air 13 passenger vehicles allow you to enjoy the sea breeze and salt air as you drive along the beach searching the famed wild ponies. Tours are typically about 2 hours long, and include interesting tidbits about the origin of the horses and the history of the Corolla area!
